Gene O. YeboahGene Yeboah has over 20 years of financial services experience and has been involved in the fixed income markets (credit and rates) and OTC derivatives for more than a decade. He is a partner at Reoch Credit Partners LLP, where he works as a senior consultant and a trainer for financial institutions and advises investors, issuers and intermediaries on product solutions and strategic risk allocation and management. Gene's previous positions included Head of Structuring and Risk in the Fixed Income group at Schroder Investment Management in London, Managing Director and head of Quantitative Credit Strategies and Risk at Babson Capital Management (the investment arm of Massmutual Financial Group), and Director of Risk Finance at Barclays Capital (New York and London), Director and head of Portfolio Analytics and Risk at the hedge fund Triton Partners (now Eidesis Capital, New York). Gene was also a Director and Head of Quantitative Equity Research at UBS, Tokyo. He started his finance career working for BARRA International, London where he was an investment consultant developing portfolio construction and global asset allocation models. Gene speaks at conferences and seminars and has published numerous papers and columns on the structured credit markets, strategic risk allocation and management. Over the course of his career he has developed a unique and comprehensive portfolio optimization framework that uses comprehensive risk/return functional analysis combining quantitative, macroeconomic and fundamental factors. He creates added value by building client specific solutions making use of strategic advice, asset allocation, portfolio construction and best in class investment management capabilities aligning assets and liabilities and alpha generation strategies. He splits his time between New York and London. Gene holds Masters Degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, Teppers School of Business, Computational Finance and in Business & Management Science from City University, Cass Business School.
